At a distance of 2 km from the city center, this quite attractive district is located at the northern part of the Bochum city park. East of the city ring lies the large event center of Bochum where the Ruhrlandhalle, Rundsporthalle, Ruhrstadion and Starlighthalle are located. The traffic connection is good, the A 40 is located in the district. U 35 in the direction of Herne and Hustadt, various bus lines go to Bochum center and Dortmund, among others.
