The castle of historicism offered by us with its outbuildings is idyllic and quietly located - with its own castle park, near the nature park Saxon Switzerland. The property is about 43.800 m² large. The castle with its two floors and a basement was used as a hotel until 1997. In the representatively developed first floor are the halls for events and the gastro kitchen. The rooms of the upper floor are simply and functionally equipped. The 1st attic floor is largely developed and is occasionally used for room rentals. The structural condition makes a solid impression, but a basic renovation of all rooms is necessary after decades of use.Orangery:At right angles to the castle stands an elongated functional building from 1908 with a full hipped roof and partial basement. The many years of use as a school with overnight rooms in the 1st attic ended a few years after reunification. A separate heating system exists in the basement. The building is currently without economic use and is currently used as a warehouse and storage area. Former gardener's house:The residential house from 1870 stands along the street and is vacant. There is no central heating. This building is also in need of renovation. History:The origins of the property date back to 1225. In 1597, the property was converted into a manor. It has changed owners several times, August the Strong freedited the castle from the domination from Meissen. A daughter of the famous composer Franz Liszt was married at the castle. The property is currently inhabited and is sold for reasons of age.
