We are selling a Neo-Renaissance/Neo-Gothic castle in Brandenburg. The castle probably dates back to a 16th century complex and was constantly rebuilt and expanded until the 19th century. It was the center of an estate from which the present village sprang. The former farm buildings have since disappeared. At the beginning of the 20th century, the castle was remodeled into its current neo-Renaissance/neo-Gothic appearance. The castle building has a living area (main usable area) of about 1,080 m² and a usable area (secondary usable area) of about 846 m². The considerable property, a former park, covers about 197,000 m² .In the mid-2000s, the renovation of the castle was started. The exterior renovation was almost completed, the interior is largely in shell condition. The castle borders directly on one of the most beautiful 18 hole golf courses in Germany and was planned as a hotel, but the construction / renovation work was canceled by the investors a few years ago.
