The Gartower lake is not far (about 3 km) and the Elbe also only about 6 km away as the crow flies. There are many possibilities for horseback riding.
In the village there is the popular village restaurant "Eichenkrug", which offers Polish dishes as a speciality. In the main town of Gartow, three kilometers away, you can stock up on daily necessities. In addition to two supermarkets, there is a hardware store, health food store, pharmacy, drugstore, two gas stations, savings bank and Volksbank. The municipal administration is located here. Elementary and secondary schools, a kindergarten as well as two doctors' and two dentists' offices round off the basic services.
