The village of Borkwalde is located in the district of Potsdam-Mittelmark, in the middle of an extensive forest area. It is only a few kilometers to the neighboring village of Borkheide with the RE 7 train connection, many shopping opportunities, hotels, restaurants and the forest swimming pool.
