Schwachhausen is combined with the districts Neu-Schwachhausen, Barkhof, Gete, Riensberg and Radio Bremen. The district is particularly attractive due to many detached houses and villas in Art Nouveau style, as well as the directly adjacent Bürgerpark. The Barkhof is in the immediate vicinity of the train station and the Bremen Parkhotel. A popular shopping street with many small stores is Wachmannstraße and the Focke Museum is a well-known destination.
