    The main rail station is easily reached on foot in just five minutes.
    The Anneliese Brost Musikzentrum Ruhr classical music venue, Schauspielhaus theatre and the Bermuda Dreieck (‘Bermuda Triangle’), where Bochum’s nightlife is to be found, are all around 10 minutes’ walk away.

    The stop for the U35 underground (Ruhr University) is only around three minutes’ away, and the nearby Kortumpark park can be reached in four minutes. Walkers will be delighted! The Stadtpark is also only ten minutes away, as are Bochum Museum of Art and the mining museum.
    Food and shopping etc:
    Shops such as a supermarket and organic food shop are five minutes’ walk away, and also in the immediate vicinity you will find Bochum market (Wednesdays and Saturdays), kiosks, book shops, restaurants and lovely cafes. There is also a lovely small Italian restaurant just around the corner.
