From your new apartment, you can walk to the pedestrian zone in the city center, the train station, the district/city administration and the hospital in just a few minutes. The Bundeswehr base in Burg is also within easy reach.

Here you will find banks, many small stores, restaurants, ice cream parlors and service offices. Shopping facilities are well distributed throughout the town - from DIY stores/building materials stores and discount stores to large shopping centers. The town has a modern hospital and many doctors in private practice who look after the health of the residents.

The state horticultural exhibition was held here in 2019, and the parks still invite you to take a walk and linger/relax. For those interested in sports, there are several sports clubs in Burg that offer a wide variety of sports.

Burg is the district town of Jerichower Land in Saxony-Anhalt. The town is conveniently located on the Bundesstraße 1 and close to the BAB A2, has a train station close to the center on the main Magdeburg - Berlin line and a bus station from where you can reach destinations in the surrounding area.
