The Golzheim area of the city, situated by the Rhine to the north of the city centre, has developed into one of the city’s most important office locations. Agencies, fashion companies, the university of applied sciences and large hotels have all made Golzheim their home. The trade fair centre and airport are also not far away. Golzheim is one of the most sought-after residential areas in the city, with its attractive older buildings and luxurious villas. The Rheinpark is a meeting place for many Düsseldorf residents with sporting ambitions.
