Bright two-bedroomed apartment enjoying a central location in Bochum and with the A40 motorway directly nearby. The property is situated at the end of a cul-de-sac. Although the property doesn’t have an allocated parking space, there is plenty of on-street parking available, including for more than one car or for example a small van. The apartment would be an ideal temporary home for a family, or alternatively for a team of two to four work colleagues. Non-smoking property. Behind the house, there is a municipal area of greenery of a similar size to a park, with a bench. A path takes you to the tram stop (about ten minutes’ walk). A discount supermarket is about 600 metres away. Hamme railway station is about 700 metres away, providing a direct link to both Bochum and Gelsenkirchen’s main rail stations (route RB 46).
The rent has been calculated on the basis of occupancy by one or two people and already includes service charges, heating costs and the cost of the internet connection. If occupied by three or four people, the rent increases by €50 per person and the deposit increases to €1800. Electricity costs must be paid separately. Cleaning of the apartment can be arranged at a cost of €20 per hour.
We have not yet received a copy of the energy certificate from the landlord, but it has been requested. Spacious living/dining room with corner sofa, large smart TV and a view of greenery. The dining area offers a table to seat up to four. Wi-fi internet access provided. The compact separate fitted kitchen is equipped with a fridge with freezer compartment, ceramic hob, cupboards, tableware and a coffee machine. A homely double bedroom is also furnished with two wardrobes and shelving. The second bedroom offers a double bed, wardrobe, shelving and an additional single bed. Compact bathroom with light-coloured tiles, offering a bath with shower fitting plus a window. A washing machine can be provided in the building’s cellar, where there is a laundry cellar with washing lines for drying clothes.

The district is situated around two to four kilometres north of the city centre, and is an extremely mixed use area comprising industry and residential areas. The western part of this district features residential areas comprising rows of houses typical of those constructed in the postwar period, but featuring plenty of greenery. Transport links: approx 1km to the A40 (Hamme and centre), approx 3km to the A43 (Riemke). Tram 306 to Bochum city centre and the centre of Herne-Wanne. Various bus routes.
