Bochum’s Stiepel district: Around six kilometres south of Bochum city centre lies Stiepel, Bochum’s best and most upmarket district. Here, large multi-family buildings or multistorey buildings are the exception. Beautiful detached one to three-family buildings stretch out along boulevard-like streets, next to small fields, meadows and wooded areas. Transport links: about 3km to the A43 motorway and buses to the city centre, Hattingen and Witten.
