Wulsdorf is a district in the South borough of the municipality of Bremerhaven in the state of Bremen. In the south, Wulsdorf borders the municipality of Loxstedt. Otherwise, Wulsdorf is surrounded by Bremerhaven districts: Fischereihafen to the west, Surheide to the east and Geestemünde to the north. Wulsdorf lies on the small river Rohr. To the west flows the Weser and to the southwest the old Lune. These two rivers used to be the municipal boundary of the village.
Today, the food industry and the fish trade are the largest employers of the population of Wulsdorf. The neighboring, developing Luneplate, will also provide jobs in the sector of alternative energy production.
The district has its own train station on the Bremen-Bremerhaven railroad line and the line in the direction of Stade, from which the connection to Hamburg branches off in Bremervörde. Today, the transport company BremerhavenBus connects the district with the city center and the northern districts on behalf of the BVV. From the federal highway 27, the highway junctions Bremerhaven-Süd (north of Nesse (Loxstedt)) and Bremerhaven-Wulsdorf lead into the district.
