Westerdeichstrich is a neighboring municipality of Büsum on the west coast of the district of Dithmarschen in Schleswig-Holstein. The districts of Westerdeichstrich, Stinteck and Butendörp are located in the village, which is mainly characterized by gentle tourism.

It offers numerous accommodations and restaurants, two campsites, a nudist beach and a nude beach, a miniature golf course and a riding stables.

Numerous activities such as hiking, cycling and fishing are possible in Westerdeichstrich. Due to its location at the Schleswig-Holstein Wadden Sea National Park, regular mudflat walks are also offered.

In addition to the extensive beach in Stinteck with sections for nudists and dogs, the townscape of Westerdeichstrich is characterized by the Margaretha mill. It was built in 1845 and now serves as a hotel and restaurant.

You can reach Büsum directly in approx. 4-5 minutes by car and in approx. 13-15 minutes by bike (depending on the route). A walk by the sea takes approx. 60 minutes to Büsum (approx. 40 minutes with a direct connection).
