With two townhouses, a high-quality mix of residential, gastronomy, retail, and office space is being created.
At the start of construction work in 2023, the quarter received its future name: as the Falckenberg Ensemble, the site makes a direct reference to the street named after the former director of the Kammerspiele, which already created a connection between the valley and Maximilianstrasse in the Middle Ages. After the parking garage was demolished, the opportunity arose to restore this spatial relationship by extending Falckenbergstrasse as a passage between the two building structures.
For the first time in Germany, six exclusive Residences at Mandarin Oriental as well as retail and office spaces are being created above the rooftops of Munich's Old Town.
Directly opposite the legendary luxury hotel, they offer a unique lifestyle that combines the best of two worlds: the comfort of a private home combined with the incomparable amenities and legendary service of Mandarin Oriental.
Surrounded by Munich's grand boulevards and cultural sites, the English Garden and the Isar meadows, a refined new cosmos of living, working, and enjoyment at the very highest quality level is being created here in the heart of Munich's Old Town.
