Grömitz is one of the largest Baltic Sea resorts, located on the north beach of Lübeck Bay in Ostholstein, and is family- and dog-friendly. During the season, the DLRG supervises the approx. 8 km-long sandy beach, with a nudist beach and dog beach. The marina has approx. 780 berths. Grömitz offers a very wide range of leisure activities, including an 18-hole golf course, spa gardens, Grömitzer Welle water park, Haus des Gastes, beach hall, library and many cafés, bars and restaurants. Activities such as horse riding, diving, tennis, sailing, surfing, golf, mini golf, football holiday school, skateboarding and climbing in the climbing park, etc. are possible.
