The area is perfect for leisure time, hiking in the woods, mountain biking, hiking, swimming, horse back riding, bird watching, fishing, relaxing in the garden, enjoying nature and load up the batteries again. Basically living where others go for a holiday, the fact it is so close to Darmstadt, makes it unique for this area. It is the only area where the air is measurably cleaner and provides access to real natural woods and a nature reserve called the Odenwald.
