Blumenthal is Bremen's most north-western district. Many churches characterize the district, as well as a lot of green along the Weser. In summer, Blumenthal can also be reached by ferry from Bremen. The center of the district offers almost everything you need for a leisurely shopping spree. A special landmark of Blumenthal is the old water tower. Drinking water here is not obtained from the Weser, but from wells of the water catchment area of the Aue.
You can reach Blumenthal quickly by train from Bremen main station, as well as by bus, car via the A27 and ferry (only in summer).
