HOME IN THE EUROPAKARREE – ERFURT’S FIRST DIGITAL RESIDENTIAL QUARTER

By February 2027, 92 apartments with up to 126 m² of living space will be ready for occupancy. All apartments will have a loggia as a so-called “summer room” with exterior curtains for privacy and sun protection. An elevator, underground parking and ancillary rooms for personal belongings, bicycles, strollers, etc. are part of contemporary living comfort.

Thanks to digital equipment, all apartments allow roller shutters, underfloor heating and lighting to be controlled regardless of time and location. The digital transponder locking system is particularly convenient, making conventional keys for the building and apartment doors unnecessary.

The quarter’s mobility concept includes underground parking spaces with sockets at every space (2.5–3.7 kWh), car sharing within the quarter and ideal connections to motorways and public transport.

In the landscaped outdoor area, the namesake EUROPA by artist Marc Fromm towers over the car-free courtyard.
