370,000 m2 of own land
Certified Bioland farm
Farmstead outside the built-up area
Paradise for people and horses
No neighbors far and wide
Expanse. Peace. Freedom.
Anyone who immerses themselves in the landscape of the Ringgau immediately senses what makes this place so special: a soothing seclusion, an almost meditative silence – and the clear, clean air of a low mountain landscape characterized by gentle hills, meadows and fields.
At an altitude of around 500 meters, nestled in a sheltered hollow, lies Renda – a small district of the North Hessian municipality of Ringgau in the Werra-Meißner district. With only around 300 inhabitants, Renda is a quiet, tranquil place off the beaten track – without a motorway, railway line or industry. Anyone who lives here consciously chooses nature, serenity and authenticity.
Renda has always been a village with an agricultural character. For generations, people here either lived as independent farmers or worked on the surrounding aristocratic estates – shaped by down-to-earth values, hard work and a deep connection with nature.
Today, the region is developed for tourism – not overcrowded, but pleasantly unhurried. An insider tip for anyone who appreciates unspoiled landscapes, peace and genuine rural life. And right in the middle of it lies a property that is rarely found in this form: a certified Bioland farm with around 370,000 m² of its own land, no direct neighbors, and unobstructed views across fields and countryside – a retreat full of possibilities.
A place made for keeping horses, self-sufficiency, multigenerational living – or simply for people seeking wide-open spaces. In the best sense.
From the village center to higher ground – a farm with history and prospects
When the buildings of the old farmstead in the center of the village were no longer sufficient at the beginning of the 1970s, the parents of the current owners’ family made a forward-looking decision: with state funding, they built a modern resettlement farm south of Renda – with spaciousResidential house, spacious stables and plenty of room for the further development of the agricultural operation.
Located outside the built-up area, the approximately 6,000 m² courtyard area forms the heart of the property – only 500 meters from the town center, yet in complete seclusion. Directly adjoining it are 14 hectares of consolidated grassland, ideal for livestock farming or hay production. A further 16 hectares of grassland and approximately 7 hectares of arable land are within easy reach and visible from the farm, supplemented by approximately 8,000 m² of woodland.
In addition, lease agreements exist for a further 16 hectares of grassland, secured until 2028. This results in a total agricultural usable area of more than 53 hectares – a solid basis for versatile, future-proof usage concepts.
Since 2016, the operation has been Bioland-certified and has been inspected and recertified annually ever since. This means organic farming according to the highest standards – without compromising on quality, animal welfare or sustainability.
At the same time, the technical infrastructure has also been continuously modernized. In 2009, a photovoltaic system was installed on the residential house and the large barn, contributing to the farm’s own electricity supply and being integrated in an energy-efficient manner. A wallbox is available in the double carport for electric mobility.
