About this apartment
By the end of April 2025, the town of Großröhrsdorf had extensively renovated the former school on Krohnenberg in the district of Hauswalde. The conversion into a residential and commercial building was carried out in keeping with the building’s historic appearance.
In addition to a club room on the ground floor and rooms for a group medical practice on the 1st floor, two wheelchair-accessible 2- and 3-room apartments have been created in the attic.
Wider doorways and large bathrooms make it easier to move around the apartments. A walk-in shower and wheelchair-accessible bathroom fixtures in the modern tiled bathrooms make everyday life easier. The bright, contemporary apartments with durable vinyl flooring are each complemented by a private roof loggia facing the courtyard, offering a wonderful view of Luisenberg. Underfloor heating keeps the rooms warm.
The building was renovated to make it accessible. An elevator was installed, and a ramp was added on the courtyard side to provide a separate entrance for wheelchair users.
