Living, residing and being a student
___________________________________
We are people with the same spirit but different academic backgrounds and skills. We are currently studying medicine, rhetoric, business administration, history, law and Sinology here, and come from all over Germany, France and Belgium. This creates exciting contacts and opportunities. At university, we would never have found one another so quickly.
We are "corps students" and call ourselves "Tübinger Franken". More information on this topic later.
Student rooms have become available again in the Tübinger Frankenhaus, which was renovated three years ago, and in an apartment on Fritz-Bauer-Straße.
The rooms are furnished with a sofa bed, wardrobe and desk. There is also space for your own furniture. In addition to your room, you can use the entire spacious house.
Highlights:
The large terrace with an amazing view over the Südstadt district all the way to the Swabian Jura. And our own punting boat. Punting with a boat, by the way, is only possible in Tübingen, Cambridge and Oxford, where it is called "punting".
Further extra features:
- Fast internet and "old school" newspaper reading, such as Spiegel, Cicero, etc.,
- the kitchen and dining room,
- a fitness room and sauna,
- parking space for a car or 2-wheelers.

Who are we and who lives here?
Feel free to get in touch with me, Tim, Amadeus, Constantin, Sean, etc. to get to know us. We look forward to meeting open-minded students.
We Tübinger Franken are students and alumni who support one another, network and – last but not least – often become friends for life. XING, LinkedIn and Co. are helpful, of course, but we also exist in "real life".
Partying is not neglected, but organizing things together, joint activities, exchanging ideas between the various fields of study, and organizing events and parties together are also part of proper student life for us, alongside hard study.
Extremely practical, especially during intensive work phases: the quiet study room with screens and printer.
If this sounds interesting to you, we look forward to receiving some information about you: Who are you? What interests you? What are you studying?

You don't have to read this—but you can ...
And what does that concretely mean – corps student?
The corps are the oldest student fraternities still in existence in Central Europe. The Corps have never been politically active, but have always been democratically organized. The youngest have always set the tone, and still do.
Where someone comes from is as irrelevant to us as their skin color, religion, or Bundesliga club. On the contrary—we consider diversity important and enriching. At present, students from Germany, Belgium, and France are active with us.
Our alumni also live not only in Germany, but are spread across the planet. Why do we then call ourselves “Franken”? That is another story—not secret, but too long for this introduction.
Your destination goes to Google Maps only when you submit the form. TraumImmo neither stores nor logs it.
The Tübinger Frankenhaus is located on the lower Österberg, essentially still in the city center. It is therefore only a 7-minute walk to Rathausplatz, the New Aula, the university library, the cafeteria, and the Neckar Island.
The nearest bus stop is 140 m away. Groceries are available at Nonnenhaus, which is a 5-minute walk away. - The train station takes 12 minutes.
