The district of Döse has all the amenities of a modern resort. It is located about 5 minutes by car from the harbor and the center of the city of Cuxhaven. The beachfront apartment is really close to the beach with only about 250 m distance and is located on the 2nd floor. In Cuxhaven Döse is just behind the dike the spa park with free animal enclosure and playground and the Kugelbakehalle, where regular events take place. Also known is the nearby fairground with the so-called Döser Meile. Smaller fairs, but also, for example, circus events take place on the fairground throughout the year.
The beach in Cuxhaven Döse is a sandy beach that adjoins Duhnen on one side and is bordered by Cuxhaven's landmark, the Kugelbake, on the other. This is also where Grimmershörner Bucht joins in. At the transition to the Cuxhaven resort district of Döse, the stadium by the sea is also located in the middle of the beach. The Kugelbake is quickly reached.
