About this space
Built in 1874 by Imperial Post Director Hasert, this villa in Greiz is currently regaining its original charm. The property is being renovated with great care and in compliance with heritage preservation requirements. The craftsmanship of the house is evident as soon as you view it: restored floors, original doors more than 150 years old that are still fully functional, and an impressive entrance and staircase area with new leaded glass define its character.
The villa offers space for a range of potential uses. The ground floor and upper floor could be rented separately or used together. If used as a whole, the generous feel of the entrance and staircase area would be preserved without additional partition walls. A combination of commercial use on the ground floor and residential use on the upper floor is also conceivable. As the renovation is still underway, the wishes of future users may be accommodated where possible.
The outdoor areas are also being restored. In future, parking spaces will be available alongside two green spaces.
Please note: Renovation work is currently in full swing. For this reason, we are not yet able to provide meaningful photographs. For example, the floors that have already been restored are covered for protection. This makes a viewing in person all the more worthwhile, allowing you to experience the villa’s special atmosphere firsthand.
