Ebersbach-Neugersdorf is located in the Upper Lusatian Highlands, directly on the Czech border, making it an interesting location in the Germany–Czech Republic–Poland tri-border region.
The surrounding area is characterized by abundant nature and the distinctive elevations of Schlechteberg and Kottmar. At the same time, cities such as Bautzen, Zittau, Liberec and Dresden are easily accessible.
Ebersbach-Neugersdorf itself offers good infrastructure, with shopping facilities, schools and kindergartens, cafés and restaurants, as well as medical practices and pharmacies. Medical care is available, among other places, at the Oberlausitzer Bergland Hospital.
Transport connections are also good. Ebersbach is on the B96 between Bautzen and Zittau.
Löbau is about 15 km away, and Bautzen around 26 km. Dresden can be reached via Bautzen and the A4 in approximately one hour. Prague is also about 1.5 hours away via Liberec.
