Our extraordinary detached house was built in 2009 as a solid construction on strip or individual foundations. The approx. 36 cm thick walls are not additionally insulated. However, this is not absolutely necessary with this type of masonry, as the energy values show.
The roof is covered with concrete roof tiles. The top floor ceiling is insulated. Double-glazed plastic windows are installed. The windows in the pitched roofs are made of wood.
The property is heated via an underfloor heating system using a modern geothermal heating system via so-called horizontal collectors, which are located underground in the garden. The hot water is of course supplied centrally. The heating system is from 2009 and is fully functional.
The property is connected to the drinking water and sewage network as well as the electricity supply. The television supply is currently provided by a satellite system. There is already fiber optic on the property, but this has not yet been finally wired.
