and offers space for visions. In the midst of the pulsating
energy of Prenzlauer Berg, directly on the legendary
Kastanienallee, a classic Berlin old-building apartment awaits
you on the 4th floor, impressing with its approx. 146 m² of
spaciousness and light.
Even upon entering the apartment, behind the wide entrance
door, an inviting entrance area opens up, from which all rooms
as well as the first bathroom are directly accessible. The clear
layout and spaciousness of the apartment immediately convey a
sense of calm and openness.
On the left side are three rooms, all facing the street and
capturing the pleasant morning light.
On the right side, the spacious Berlin room opens up with a view
of the quiet inner courtyard.
The high ceilings, decorated with stucco elements in all rooms,
as well as the location on the 4th floor, give the apartment a
special lightness and an impressive sense of space.
ROUND TOUR:
The bay window room (#2) offers one of the most beautiful open
panoramic views of Kastanienallee and is equipped with a wood
stove.
The balcony room (#3), also with a stove, provides access to the
loggia
The renovation followed a clear credo: preserve instead of
replace, upgrade instead of cover up. The goal was always to
preserve its original character.
All living areas and the kitchen are fitted with herringbone
parquet or floorboards. The floors and room doors were sanded
and oiled. As a result, they are easy to care for and durable.
Most of the interior window frames were painted clear, so that,
combined with the floors and doors, the original wooden texture
remains fully visible in all its warmth.
The stucco ceilings in the rooms and in the Berlin room were
preserved and convey an authenticity that cannot be recreated
new.
(southeast-facing) access. It offers space for cozy summer
afternoons and mild evenings and invites you to enjoy the
neighborhood.
Directly from the entrance area or from the balcony room,
through the elegant double-wing door, you enter the centerpiece
of the apartment: the classic Berlin room. With a fireplace and a
view of the quiet inner courtyard, this is the ideal retreat, not
just for winter evenings.
The highlight for individualists: thanks to its proximity to all
supply and disposal lines, a modern eat-in kitchen can be
created here if desired.
A small hallway continues to the second bathroom (bathroom
with tub and double washbasin) and the former kitchen area.
Both areas face the courtyard and guarantee discretion and
peace.
