Over time, we supplemented it with various new elements and improvements, thereby enriching our ideas as we had originally envisioned them. After this necessary maturation process, our undertaking has become reality and we are extremely proud of the result. For us, living means assigning appropriate value to the surroundings of our home and becoming part of our environment, because this is just as important as the cement that holds the various building elements together. When we chose the name Nature Views and the colours pink and green, we had the impressive view of the Laguna Salada amid extensive citrus groves in mind. The magnificent view is undoubtedly one of the most outstanding assets of this residential complex. The interiors of the sunny homes with their white façades are flooded with daylight and display clear influences of the purest Mediterranean style. However, great importance was attached not only to those elements that catch the eye at first glance, but also to the building materials used and the overall workmanship. The coastal town of Torrevieja, located in the south of the Costa Blanca, has been one of the country's most important holiday resorts for decades and is also valued by sun-hungry foreign visitors as one of the most popular tourist destinations for beach holidays. However, the town has much more to offer besides. In the middle of the 19th century, Federico Linares, who was born in Orihuela, commissioned a large villa to be built on the southern boundary of the municipality in the style of the period, to be used as a place of peace and relaxation amid the vegetable gardens and citrus groves. Even the press of the day praised this building for its beauty, and reports were made of the lavish parties held in this villa, to which the most prestigious personalities of the upper-classThe society was invited. However, it was above all an architectural feature that later helped make the villa generally famous, namely the numerous balconies that adorned its façade. The building soon became known by the name “Villa Balcones,” and this name eventually, although originally unintentionally, became the designation of the entire settlement. Today, Los Balcones is undoubtedly one of the province of Alicante’s most traditional residential areas for holiday homes and second residences. At the beginning of the 1970s, the townscape began to take on its present character, and at the same time the Torrevieja Tennis Club was founded, which is based in this area.
