In 1896, the farm served as a popular recreation and meeting place in the village of Germershausen. In 1948, after two years of construction, the large banquet hall was put into operation.
In the 50's the property was extensively rebuilt. Hereby the gastronomic area was put into the foreground.
In the following years, comfortable guest rooms, a new restaurant and a cozy fireplace room were built.
Since 1988 the business has been successfully expanded. The guest rooms were renovated with their own bathrooms and TV connections, the view of the house was renewed, the kitchen was brought up to modern standards and much more. Especially affectionately the terrace was arranged. In addition to a sunny beer garden, a pretty ornamental pond with a wooden bridge, a barbecue kota and other small details were added to make the terrace a beautiful backdrop for weddings.
In 2001 the establishment was awarded the "Golden Chef's Hat" by the DEHOGA.
