The distance to Hamburg is approx. 40 km, and to Lüneburg approx. 24 km. Public transport connections are good (bus and rail connections to Hamburg, Lüneburg and Lübeck). The central bus station is a 5-minute walk away. The train station can be reached on foot in 20 minutes or by bus (in 7-8 minutes).
Hamburg can be reached via the A 25 and the B5. The infrastructure is well developed.
