Der Bungalow befindet sich in der Waldsiedlung in Blankenfelde, Ortsteil Mahlow. Die Astrid-Lindgren Grundschule ist fußläufig erreichbar, am S-Bahnhof Mahlow ist man mit dem Auto oder Fahrrad innerhalb von 5 - 10 Minuten. Es gibt einen wunderschönen neuen Abenteuerspielplatz und für lange Spaziergänge lädt der nahe Wald ein. Klar ist - das Haus liegt im Einflugbereich des BER, das muss man wissen. Klar ist aber auch - der Fluglärm ist nicht den ganzen Tag, sondern nur in einzelnen Intervallen und nachts wird nicht geflogen. Wer sich durch den Flugverkehr nicht abschrecken lässt - man gewöhnt sich im Übrigen ganz schnell daran und nimmt ihn dann oft gar nicht mehr wahr - der findet hier ein liebevoll errichtetes und idyllisches neues Zuhause mit südländischem Flair.
