Small house in a central but quiet location (residential street) in the Modautal district of Brandau. The house was renovated inside in 2013. The bathroom and a separate WC were completely newly installed, a second guest WC was added, so that there is now a WC on both floors. Brandau, with approx. 1500 inhabitants, is the largest district of the municipality of Modautal, consisting of 11 villages. There is a baker, a general practitioner and a kindergarten here. The municipal administration is located here in the village, as well as a joint branch of Sparkasse and Volksbank. Further shopping facilities can be found, for example, in Lautern (Edeka with drinks market/Penny) and Reichenbach (Aldi), or in the nearest district of Lützelbach (butcher). The bus connection to Darmstadt is very good. This bus also goes to Ernstnofen to the primary school and stops in Ober-Ramstadt (secondary schools). There are also bus routes in the other direction (Fischbachtal, Groß-Bieberau). By car, there is a good connection to the A5 towards Heidelberg and Frankfurt. Brandau is surrounded by forests, meadows and fields that invite you to go for walks and cycling. You can also be active in sports in the local sports club with various divisions, above all football (with its own artificial turf pitch). There is also a tennis club.
