On-street parking, with Bochum city centre and the A40 motorway being only 10 to 15 minutes’ drive away. There is also a direct bus link to Bochum’s main rail station, via the Augusta hospital and town hall, and which continues to Dortmund’s Lütgendortmund district, via the Ruhr Park, a large indoor shopping centre. The Grummer Teiche range of ponds is virtually behind the building, offering plenty of opportunity for walks. A pizzeria and restaurant/pub are also in the immediate vicinity.
The rent has been calculated on the basis of occupancy by one person, and already includes service charges, heating costs and the cost of cleaning the staircase. Electricity must be paid for separately. If occupied by two people, the rent increases by €100.
We have not yet received a copy of the energy certificate from the landlord, but it has been requested. Generously proportioned living and dining area with open access doorway. There is also a compact working area. Wi-fi internet access possible. The new fitted kitchen offers a dishwasher, fridge with freezer compartment, ceramic hob with glass extractor hood, oven and microwave. Fully equipped with coffee machine, kettle, toaster, tableware and cooking utensils. In the dining area you will find a table with four chairs. The living room is furnished with a cosy corner sofa with sofabed function, 60" smart TV, DAB mini-music system and two armchairs, with a window providing a lovely view of greenery. In the bedroom, a large divan bed (1.80m x 2m) ensures sleeping comfort. There are also wardrobes, a chest of drawers with TV and an additional walk-in storeroom containing shelves and cleaning utensils. The apartment also has a large bathroom with window, heated towel rail, bathtub, shower, two washbasins, and a wall-mounted WC. It also houses the washing machine.

This attractive district to the north of Bochum’s Stadtpark lies only 2km from the city centre. Grumme was first mentioned in documents back in 1150, and was a hamlet in the Middle Ages. Early in the 20th century, it became a district of the city of Bochum. East of the ring road is the focus for Bochum’s large events: the Ruhrlandhalle conference centre, Rundsporthalle sporting arena, Ruhrstadion football stadium and the Starlight Express theatre. Excellent transport links. The A40 motorway can be reached in just a few minutes, and from this, the A43 and A42.
