Dortmund's Unionviertel/City-West district. The district lies directly to the west of the city centre, and is a popular, densely populated residential area with complete infrastructure. Streets of older buildings can be found near the Westpark. The B1 main road is around 1km away, and the A45 motorway is 2km away. Excellent underground rail and local rail links to the city centre, university and also Bochum.
