Sendling is a lively, established district south of the city center, comprising Untersendling, Mittersendling and Obersendling – from here, its diversity stretches from Westpark to Harras. Oberländerstraße itself runs through the Sendlinger Feld and crosses well-known streets such as Implerstraße and Kidlerstraße.
Public transport connections are excellent:
U-Bahn U3/U6, “Implerstraße” station – quick connections to Marienplatz, the city center or the university
Harras S-Bahn station – connections to several S-Bahn and bus lines, with direct links to the city center and surrounding area
Other bus stops, such as Margaretenplatz, provide additional connections to other districts
These transport hubs are just a few minutes’ walk away – having your own car is hardly necessary for everyday life.
The neighborhood fully meets everyday needs: supermarkets, bakeries, drugstores, pharmacies, as well as smaller shops and restaurants, including directly on Oberländerstraße. Sendling stands out for its good mix of residential, work and leisure spaces – Westpark, the Isar riverbanks and other green spaces are just as easy to reach as the city center.
Overall, an ideal location for anyone who appreciates urban living with short distances and good transport links, but prefers to live in an established, somewhat quieter district rather than right in the tourist center.
