Our holiday homes, newly built in 2018 from solid log beams, are in Alpine chalet style, each with a log-beam sauna and a wood-burning stove, visually and technically up to date. The houses are each approx. 75 sqm in size, for max. 5 people. The large panoramic windows face the adventure mountain (Bocksberg).
Our 6 log cabins are 6 individual houses made from solid log beams. All houses stand on stilts, like the rustic log cabins in Austria and Switzerland. A unique feature throughout the Harz. Apart from the color scheme, the furnishings are almost identical.
Our log cabins are furnished in the trendy style mix, modern yet cozy.

A takeover of our homepage, as well as our Instagram and Facebook pages (Harzblockhaus) with over 2,200 followers can also be arranged. This makes further marketing much easier. Since we have been landlords of log cabins/log huts or chalets in the Harz since 2012, we of course also have corresponding regular guests. Already booked periods can of course also be taken over. After years of experience with large and smaller log cabins and chalets in the Harz, we have found that smaller log cabins achieve a significantly higher return than larger log cabins and can also be rented out much more easily than larger holiday homes that are further away from the town center. The hub in Hahnenklee is Rathausstraße with the cable car, the adventure mountain "Bocksberg", as well as the numerous restaurants, shops and the supermarket.
With us, for example, you can buy 2 individual finished log cabins with demonstrably very good returns for €750,000 and not the famous "pig in a poke". After purchase, you can either rent out your log cabins yourself directly, or have your rentals handled completely.

Our log-panel houses are directly on one of the most beautiful hiking trails in the Harz, right by the forest at the end of the village in a cul-de-sac. Very quietly located yet still central.
The hub in Hahnenklee is Rathausstraße with the cable car, the adventure mountain "Bocksberg" as well as the numerous restaurants, shops and the supermarket. The town center is only approx. 400 meters away from our houses, close but not audible.

At an altitude of approx. 600 to 750 meters above sea level, the town is one of the snowiest places in the Harz.
Hahnenklee is a holiday resort in the Harz; thanks to the many investments in recent years, this year and in the coming years Hahnenklee is one of the biggest tourist magnets in the Harz. This year alone, another summer or all-year round toboggan run was opened, which attracts even more guests to Hahnenklee.
The overnight figures speak for themselves: in 2022 Hahnenklee had approx. 450,000 and in 2023 approx. 480,000 overnight stays.
