Welcome to your new home at Mierendorffplatz!
We are renting out the two rooms of a renovated period apartment on the 3rd floor of the side wing. 63.7 m², two large rooms, a new kitchen with dining area and a new bathroom. A small, quiet two-person shared apartment, not a large shared flat.
The apartment has what is rarely found in Berlin in this combination: original wooden floorboards in both rooms, high ceilings, arched windows and, in one of the rooms, a preserved stucco ceiling. This is not standard dressed up, but a genuine period apartment, carefully restored.
Both rooms are fully furnished; you can move in with just your suitcase. The location in the side wing means: no street noise, a view of greenery, and yet you can be at the U7 in two minutes.
Room 2 (€805 total incl. heating, electricity, internet)
approx. 16 m², two tall arched windows overlooking the green courtyard and an original, preserved, colour-painted stucco ceiling, beneath which hangs the basket pendant light. The floorboards have been restored, and the walls are painted a calm grey.

The rent (gross excluding heating) is per room: €695 for room 2, €749 for room 1. This includes complete furnishings, shared use of the kitchen, bathroom and hallway, as well as all operating costs (water, waste collection, building cleaning, property tax, insurance). There is no advance payment or annual service charge statement for these items; you pay the same amount every month.
Only electricity and gas are added. The apartment has its own gas combi boiler for heating and hot water, as well as its own electricity meter. For the entire apartment, we estimate approximately €160 for gas and €60 for electricity per month, meaning an advance payment of €110 per person.

Mierendorffplatz is located on Mierendorff Island in Charlottenburg, between the Spree and Westhafen Canal. A small neighborhood of its own: quiet, green, with mature trees on the square, yet right next to City West.
