Beautiful and cozy maisonette apartment in an upscale residential area in a good neighborhood, only a 5-minute walk from Grafenberger Wald. International tenants are welcome. Enjoy the view and the peaceful surroundings at all times of day.
Two minutes from Ost-Park and Grafenberger Allee, including all shopping facilities for daily needs. In less than 10 minutes, you can reach the city center, Am Wehrhahn, by tram/subway.
The building and entrance, including the hallway, are very well maintained. Move in and feel at home immediately.
The rent applies to one person. If the apartment is occupied by two people, the rent will increase by €50.00 per month.
The rent already includes operating and heating costs. An advance payment of €50 to €70 is payable for electricity; consumption will be billed separately. Window cleaning every 10 weeks is also included in the rent.
An energy certificate has not yet been provided by the landlord, but has been requested.

Fittings and features, as described

The apartment features oiled parquet flooring, while Tretford carpeting on the gallery provides cozy comfort. All windows can be darkened with blinds or shutters. Internet access is provided via a guest connection (100 Mbit).
The daylight bathroom with bathtub and shower attachment is also equipped with a washing machine and dryer. The separate utility room contains all important everyday aids, such as an iron, ironing board, and cleaning supplies.
A generous basic supply of cooking and tableware, bed linen (four-season duvets), and towels is provided. The small, cozy fitted kitchen is equipped with a ceramic hob, oven, sink, and fridge-freezer; a dishwasher can be provided upon request. A Nespresso coffee machine, toaster, and kettle are available.
The living room contains a comfortable 2-seater sofa, an armchair, a dining table with four chairs, a shelving unit, and a sideboard.
The large bedroom offers a magnificent view of the gardens and Grafenberg Forest. It is furnished with an antique walnut bed (2 x 2 meters), two bedside tables, a chest of drawers, a 2-door wardrobe, and an additional clothes rack; it is quietly situated at the rear.
The gallery features a large, open room with large roof windows and a Velux roof balcony, making it very airy here even in summer. In addition to the home office area with desk and chair, another seating area with a sofa and two wicker armchairs provides the opportunity to watch cable TV.
The apartment is ideally suited for an uncomplicated start in Düsseldorf. All you have to do here is unpack your suitcase.

Even though the racetrack, Rochus Club and other attractions mistakenly attributed to Grafenberg are not actually located in the district, the district nevertheless benefits from these attractions. Strictly speaking, Grafenberg lies at the foot of the Grafenberg Forest. Its advantage: good amenities and shopping opportunities around Staufenplatz.
Speaking of Staufenplatz: When the (large) circus comes to town, it usually pitches its tents there. Spectacular shows and popular open-air attractions are also regularly offered on this square. The well-attended Easter fair, held together with the marksmen’s festival, has become a tradition.
Very close by, an attraction of a completely different kind literally bubbles out of the ground: the “Jan Wellem Spring.” Its water once helped the famous Elector with his digestive problems. The spring on the slopes of the Grafenberg Forest, which had dried up and is now located on the grounds of a retirement home, has been uncovered again—together with the surrounding park, whose design was created by the renowned garden planner Maximilian Weyhe.
