Access to the apartment is step-free. From the large east-facing terrace, a path through the dunes leads directly to the sea. Anyone who dislikes stairs or is travelling with a stroller and beach gear will appreciate this location. The centerpiece of the apartment is a spacious living and dining area with an open, fully equipped fitted kitchen. The building dates from 1936 and was last comprehensively modernized in 2019. Prora is located between the seaside resorts of Binz and Sassnitz on Prorer Wiek, directly on one of the longest sandy beaches on the island of Rügen. Prora railway station is approximately 900 metres away and connects the apartment to Binz, Sassnitz and Stralsund without a car. Binz, the island’s largest seaside resort with its resort architecture, the chalk cliffs in Jasmund National Park, the flint fields and the treetop path are all within a short distance. The surrounding area is suitable for hikes and cycling tours all year round.
