Hohe Düne is one of the special residential areas in the city of Rostock. The residential park is located directly on the sea channel opposite Warnemünde and combines peaceful living with immediate proximity to the water.
The ferry terminal can be reached from the apartment in about five to ten minutes on foot. The crossing to Warnemünde takes around five minutes. From the ferry terminal on the Warnemünde side, it is still around two kilometres to the centre of Warnemünde.
The Hohe Düne marina, with around 750 berths, is located right next door. The maritime surroundings strongly shape the location.
Facilities for everyday needs are also within walking distance. A bus stop for routes 17 and 18, a daycare centre and a restaurant are each about a five- to ten-minute walk away.
Further shopping opportunities and the beaches in Markgrafenheide are around four kilometres away.
The immediate residential surroundings are predominantly characterised by detached houses, semi-detached houses and terraced houses. As a result, despite its proximity to Warnemünde and the marina, Hohe Düne has a comparatively peaceful residential character.
