The former inn is a two-storey, gable-fronted saddle-roof building with a stepped gable and a rounded corner oriel, dating from the 16th/17th century.
The old brewery is a three-storey, unrendered brick building with a saddle roof and façade articulation, dated 1903 according to the inscription in the gable. Both buildings are listed.
On the basis of more recent findings concerning the extensive construction works and the modernization of the brewery in 1930, it is currently being clarified at the Bavarian State Office whether the remaining building stock, including the extensions, the coach house and the brewery cellars, as well as the remaining brewery equipment, will also be entered in the list of monuments. State grants may be applied for for the preservation and repair of the monument. Tax consideration (listed-building depreciation, Denkmal AfA) is also possible. The property is therefore extremely interesting for investors. Two parking spaces are recognized for the property.

The property of the old brewery is being sold by means of a concept-based award. In this process, the focus is not exclusively on the purchase price offered, but in particular on the quality and feasibility of the submitted use concept. The minimum purchase price is 100,000 euros and must be met by all applicants.
The municipality intends to award the property on the basis of the concepts submitted. Both the substantive quality and the feasibility and the added value of the respective concept for the municipality will be taken into account.
The sale of the property is as seen and without any warranty. All incidental costs incurred, in particular real estate transfer tax and notary fees, are to be borne by the buyer.
Interested parties are requested to submit their offer, including the use concept, by 18 January 2027, 12:00 at the latest, to the municipal administration at the town hall. The documents are to be submitted in a sealed envelope marked “Offer for the acquisition of the old brewery – concept-based award”. (see Annex)
The bids received will be opened and reviewed during the budget meeting on 18 January 2027. At the municipal council meeting on 25 January 2027, a selection of suitable applicants will then be made.
A presentation of the submitted use concepts is scheduled for 1 February 2027, if applicable, as part of a special meeting of the municipal council. The selected interested parties are asked to keep this date free as a precaution so that they can present their concepts in person if required.
On the basis of the documents submitted and, where applicable, the personal presentations, the municipality will decide on the allocation of the property. The award will be made by 05 February 2027.
Should the highest bidder not have signed the purchase contract within 30 days of dispatch of the award letter, the municipality reserves the right to award the property to the second-highest bidder.
