Fittings and features, as described
Features Building description for the complete renovation / conversion of the building at Marientalstr. 70-72 The building has a full basement and provides a cellar for each residential unit. The building was clad with typical red Münster clinker brick. Until 2020, the heating was an oil-fired heating system.
In 2018/19, the owner of the building applied to convert the attic and to ecologically renovate the entire building according to the best possible principles. In 2019/20, the roof structure of the building was dismantled and renewed, the old roof tiles were removed and replaced, and a loggia was built in the newly created top-floor apartment. The exterior clinker brick was removed individually, the building was newly insulated from the outside and fitted with new anthracite-coloured clinker brick from Janninghoff in Münster. In summer 2019/20/21, all windows in the building were removed and replaced. The entrance door video intercom system (GIRA) was also replaced.

Location The property is located in the Kreuzviertel district, off the famous Schulstrasse (in summer, during the cherry blossom, one of the most beautiful streets in Germany). The venerable Schlosstheater (cinema) is only a few hundred metres away. 100 m next to the house there is a bakery with a large café. The York Center is likewise on the other side of the Kreuzviertel. Several bus routes are within walking distance. In the immediate vicinity you will find several restaurants, the venerable pub Mutter Birken, the best Italian restaurant in the city, cafés, doctors, bakeries and supermarkets.
