Only about 150 m from the apartment (two minutes on foot) is an EDEKA store. Only about 200 m farther there is an ALDI supermarket. At approx. 350 m away, the bus (line 50) and the tram (lines 17 and 37) run. With both tram lines, you can reach the Arabellapark subway station on line U4 within five minutes. The Johanneskirchen S-Bahn station (line S8 – to the airport or into the city center) is approx. 900 m away. For drivers, access to the Mittlerer Ring can be described as very good. This means you can get to the city center quickly. The airport and the popular local recreation areas around Munich are also easily accessible by public transport. As in the other residential districts of Bogenhausen, there are extensive park and green spaces here, inviting you to go for walks, cycling, and jogging. The nearby English Garden is also considered a popular destination for excursions. In summer as well as in winter, the nearby Cosimabad with Munich's only wave pool offers special leisure fun. On hot days in particular, the surrounding bathing lakes, such as the Feringasee or the Poschinger Weiher (Unterföhringer See), also attract numerous bathers. Expansive sunbathing lawns line the shores, and designated barbecue areas as well as sports facilities round off the summer leisure experience. Those who prefer things a bit quieter will certainly find a shady spot in one of the lovely beer gardens. Many shopping options for everyday needs, doctor visits, and other errands can be easily done on foot. Schools and childcare facilities are also reachable within a few minutes on foot.
