The beautiful country house is located in the heart of North Frisia, in a preferred and peaceful location, not far from the North Sea and Baltic Sea. The property is conveniently situated between Schafflund and Leck. As rural sub-centres, both towns offer good infrastructure with shopping facilities, local suppliers (discount supermarkets), doctors, schools, craft businesses, banks, restaurants and further service providers.
The larger cities of Flensburg, Husum and Tønder in Denmark can each be reached in around 25 km. The distance to Niebüll, with its railway connection towards Sylt, is approx. 18 km. This location therefore offers an attractive combination of rural tranquillity, good regional accessibility and proximity to the North Sea coast and the Danish border. The surrounding area offers numerous opportunities for leisure and recreation.
All necessities of daily life, such as doctors, bakeries, butchers, supermarkets, etc., can be reached within a few minutes. In Niebüll (15 minutes by car), enjoy the museums, concerts, events of all kinds, the cinema, the town and its shops. Niebüll is home to the Nordfriesland Hospital as well as secondary schools (Realschule, FPS Gymnasium). It is the immediate proximity to the North Sea and the islands of Föhr and Sylt, as well as the proximity to the Baltic Sea and the fjord towns of Flensburg and Glücksburg, that makes this location so desirable.
The property is situated immediately adjacent to Langenberger Forst, one of the larger forested areas in Schleswig-Holstein. The „Rantzauhöhe“, one of the highest elevations in the Nordfriesland district, is also located here. The Langenberger Forst hiking and recreation area, with the historic Ochsenweg, its unique natural environment and signposted hiking trails across the approx. 1,000 ha Langenberger Forst, invites you to enjoy sporting activities, a relaxing walk and moments of inner reflection. Visit the Nolde Museum with the Nolde-Cafe Seebüll.
It is only a half-hour drive from the country house to Dagebüll, the “gateway to the islands of Föhr and Amrum”. There is also a sandy beach with views of the Wadden Sea, the island of Föhr and the Halligen. Experience the ebb and flow of the tides here, or book an expertly guided mudflat hike. Dagebüll also offers a good selection of restaurants. The Hallig Krog on Hamburger Hallig is also worth a visit; there is a bathing area here as well. Friends of theGolf enthusiasts will find the exemplary 18-hole Hof Berg golf course in the immediate vicinity (5 minutes by car), in a scenic setting on the edge of the Langenberger Forest. Other golf courses are located in Denmark at Tønder (Toftlund, Arrild and Rømø), as well as in Husum and the Förde Golf Club Flensburg-Glücksburg.
Sylt is the island of contrasts: thatched-roof houses on small mounds, narrow roads and endless sandy beaches, the Wadden Sea and heathlands. You can take the train from Niebüll station to the island (Morsum) in just 20 minutes. It is only a 20-minute drive from Stadum to Niebüll station. Flensburg, the maritime city, awaits you. The view across the Flensburg Firth is simply breathtaking; numerous white sailboats give the observer a maritime flair.
