Your new home is located in Bobenheim am Berg – nestled between vineyards and forest and surrounded by the special landscape of the Palatinate. Here, peaceful living, nature and beautiful views come together with a house that has been extensively modernized in recent years.
Upon entering the semi-detached house, built in 1972, you are welcomed by a spacious entrance hall from which the various areas of the house can be accessed.
To the right, the approximately 42 m² living and dining room opens up – a spacious focal point of the house with plenty of room for shared meals, relaxing evenings and convivial hours. From the dining area, the view stretches across the vineyards to the Odenwald.
Straight ahead, the hallway leads to the kitchen and the shower room. To the left are a storage room, the guest WC and the stairs to the attic and basement.
In the attic, you are first welcomed by a bright gallery that gives the upper floor an open and inviting atmosphere. From here, you reach the bathroom with bathtub, another storage room and two bedrooms.
A special detail reveals itself in the morning: With the bedroom door open, the bed offers a beautiful view towards Battenberg Castle.
The fully basemented house offers surprisingly plenty of space. In addition to the heating and laundry rooms, there is a spacious pantry as well as a study and a guest room – ideal for working from home, hobbies or overnight guests.
Between 2018 and 2020, the house was extensively renovated and modernized.
The heating system, heating pipes and radiators were replaced. The electrical installation was also completely renewed on the ground and attic floors and partially renewed in the basement. The water pipes in the bathrooms and kitchen were newly installed.
A new fuse box was installed on the ground floor, the fuse box in the basement was supplemented and an additional high-voltage connection was created. A solar thermal system supports hot-water production.
The two bathrooms and the guest WC were renovated. At the same time, the layout of the house was modified and individual windows were enlarged. The corresponding building permit is available.
All windows – including the basement windows – were replaced with triple-glazed windows. The interior doors and the entrance door were also renewed.
In addition, the building received a 12 cm thick Insulated composite thermal system made of stone wool, followed by new plastering.
Two terraces – sun or shade as desired
The outdoor areas have also been redesigned.
The garage driveway was newly paved and fitted with a carport. The terrace directly in front of the living room was retiled and covered. This allows you to sit outside even in light rain and enjoy the peace and nature around the house.
An additional garden access was created directly from the kitchen. A second terrace was built here, and the garden area was redesigned.
Because the two terraces are located on the east and west sides of the house, you can choose according to the time of day, season and position of the sun: breakfast in the morning sun, a shady spot on warm days, or ending the evening outdoors.

Fittings and features, as described
Particular attention was paid to creating a harmonious and welcoming overall design.
The floors throughout the entire ground floor, as well as in both bathrooms and the guest WC, feature uniform Italian tiles. Oak parquet flooring was laid in the living and sleeping areas on the upper floor, lending the rooms a warm and natural atmosphere.
The classic radiators – including in the basement – have largely been replaced by skirting-board heating. This ensures even heat distribution and blends discreetly into the rooms. The bathrooms and kitchen are excluded from this.
The interior walls were plastered and predominantly designed in warm, harmonious shades.
The house is heated by a pellet heating system. During the transitional season, the wood-burning stove in the living area, fueled with logs, provides an additional heat source while also creating a particularly cozy atmosphere.
The garage is currently used as a workshop and therefore offers additional space for crafts, hobbies or storage.

Bobenheim am Berg is a charming municipality in the district of Bad Dürkheim and belongs to the Freinsheim collective municipality. With around 786 inhabitants (as of December 2025), the village has retained its rural and personal character.
Its location between vineyards and forest is particularly appealing, just a few kilometres from the German Wine Route. This means the region’s well-known wine villages and numerous wine festivals can be reached quickly, while at home you can still enjoy peace and distance from the tourist bustle.
Bobenheim am Berg offers ideal conditions for nature lovers: walks through the vineyards, short or extended hikes in the Palatinate Forest, and varied routes for mountain bikers begin practically on the doorstep and can be reached without a car. The immediate proximity to forests, meadows and vineyards is also particularly attractive for dog owners.
Despite its natural surroundings, everyday essentials are quickly accessible. The village itself includes, among other things, a restaurant with hotel facilities and a chocolatier. Further shopping opportunities are available in the neighbouring towns: for example, there is a bakery in Weisenheim am Berg, while butchers and bakeries can also be found in nearby Sausenheim.
Grünstadt can be reached by car in around ten minutes. There, a comprehensive infrastructure with supermarkets and further shopping opportunities, doctors, fitness studios, a cinema and numerous service providers is available.
The transport connections are also convenient: the A6 motorway junction can be reached in approximately six minutes. Kaiserslautern, Worms, Frankenthal and Ludwigshafen are around 30 minutes away by car, depending on the destination and traffic conditions. Mannheim, Heidelberg and Speyer can be reached in approximately 45 minutes.
For families, the short distance to the local kindergarten is also attractive; it is only a few minutes’ walk away.
